Treat named examples as a partial ledger

The fact panel preserves only names explicitly present in the scanned Demo patch note. It does not imply that the list is complete. Generic key art supplies no activity screen, rule, reward, or building relationship.

Use the Missions guide for the other historically mentioned activity and the buildings overview for tooltip-bound unlock evidence. Their proximity in a source is not a license to assign them to each other.

Capture a current Trial from entry to result

Start with the exact visible name and build. Record the entry screen before beginning, then preserve rules and completion wording without paraphrasing important conditions.

FieldEvidence to keep
NameComplete current label
BuildVersion or dated build
Entry stateUnlock and availability text
RulesFull visible restrictions
ObjectiveExact completion condition
SetupArmy, formation, and upgrades
ResultSuccess or failure state
RewardComplete visible reward text

If a field is hidden until entry, say so. Do not copy a rule from an old patch fix into a current overview unless the current interface displays it.

Separate rule verification from strategy

First establish what the current Trial asks. Then choose one controlled test for the first repeatable failure. Change one position, unit, or affordable purchase and replay from the same state.

A successful clear demonstrates one setup under one build. It does not prove the only solution, fastest clear, or best formation. A failed attempt can still establish which event ended the run.

Preserve historical wording correctly

Old fix notes may reveal that a named activity existed and that a particular interaction once mattered. They do not provide a complete evergreen rulebook. Keep historical descriptions under their original version and create a new current row rather than silently modernizing them.

When a current label matches an old name, compare visible conditions field by field. A shared name does not guarantee shared rules or rewards.

Review list claims carefully

Mark the catalog “observed” unless a current official source explicitly says it is complete. Record where each row came from. Avoid filling gaps from fan lists, memories, icon order, or naming patterns.

The goal is a verifiable activity ledger: exact names, exact current text, reproducible observations, and visible unknowns. Completeness can wait for complete evidence.

Publish failed conditions too

Record an attempt that appears to satisfy the objective but does not complete. Preserve the final screen, surviving units, active restrictions, and any wording that changed during the run. The discrepancy may reveal an overlooked condition, a display issue, or a version change.

Do not resolve the discrepancy by silently editing the rule summary. Keep the interface transcription, observed result, and proposed explanation in separate fields. A second attempt designed around the suspected condition can then confirm or reject it.

Frequently asked questions

What is verified about Trials?
Demo v0.09 patch notes name Exterminator Trial, Cleansing Fire Trial, and Artillery Master Trial and state that Trials and Missions unlocked at the Accursed Elf. Boundary: Demo v0.09 patch-note scan. Checked 2026-08-28. This is not a complete Trial list and does not establish complete rules, rewards, building assignments, or current version 1.0 availability.
How should an additional Trial be documented?
Capture its exact current name, build, visible rules, entry state, completion condition, and reward. Do not add it to a complete-list claim unless a current official source establishes completeness.
