Choose a guide by the problem on screen
Orc Incremental combines drafting, formation decisions, automatic combat, tactical actions, incremental upgrades, resets, and permanent progress. A useful wiki separates those systems. It should also separate an official announcement from a historical Demo note and a current build observation.
| Player problem | First page | What it helps decide |
|---|---|---|
| The first run has no clear direction | Beginner strategy | Draft, position, diagnose a wall, then spend |
| Progress stopped | Progression diagnosis | Tactical wall, economy wall, or permanent-progress wall |
| Several purchases look plausible | Upgrade priority | Match one purchase to one bottleneck |
| An unlock is missing | Milestone tracker | Separate verified checkpoints from unknown thresholds |
| Time away produced an unclear result | Offline gains checks | Verify save state and measure without inventing a rate |
| A release or Demo claim conflicts | Release date status | Apply the official release gate |
| A symptom may be a bug | Known issues | Separate current gaps from historical fixes |
Use the complete FAQ for short release, save, evidence, and system answers. Use the official update ledger when a statement depends on a dated announcement.
Understand the evidence labels
The page header owns the build label; the evidence badge describes the cited sources. They answer different questions.
1.0 Confirmed
This label means an official source announced the feature for version 1.0. It does not mean the release is available. For this snapshot, the official announcement planned version 1.0 for September 8, 2026 while the official Steam page still showed Coming soon on August 28.
Historical
Historical marks older Demo context. Updates v0.05, v0.08, and v0.09 are useful records for Warpath, Battlefront, Missions, Trials, Totems, and Blight. They cannot establish current version 1.0 costs, balance, or unlock thresholds.
Not verified yet
This phrase is a boundary, not an invitation to guess. It appears when the checked sources do not publish an exact name, value, formula, threshold, or current behavior. A correction needs an official source or a reproducible observation attached to a named build.
Keep the release boundary visible
The release date page states the boundary in its first paragraph: September 8, 2026 was officially planned, and the August 28 Steam state was still Coming soon. Pages may describe announced 1.0 scope, but they must not turn that plan into a shipped claim.
The announced additions include Assassin, Troll, Warg Raider, Juggernaut, nine Chieftain bloodlines, a branching Blight Tree with more than 250 nodes, five new Totems, Cryomancer, Paladin, Griffon, and three new legendary bosses. Some names and broad roles are published. Many exact effects, node names, thresholds, and formulas are not.
The Demo and full-game comparison keeps those additions beside the separate Demo availability and save facts. That page is the correct reference when an old guide mixes both build eras.

Army and formation
The official store establishes drafting, roles, rarities, formation, automatic combat, and tactical spells. Detailed unit reference pages and the formation guide are staged later in the implementation plan. Until their evidence tables are complete, this hub does not rank units or state hidden targeting rules.
Rebirth and permanent progress
Dark Rebirth, permanent bonuses, Chieftain choices, and the Blight Tree belong to permanent progression. Start with progression diagnosis, then continue to the staged Dark Rebirth reference or Blight Tree guide when those pages are published. Historical Demo inputs must remain labeled rather than projected onto version 1.0.
Activities and challenges
Battlefront appears in the official store and in historical Demo update v0.08. Historical notes also describe Warpath, Missions, and Trials. Their staged hubs are Battlefront reference, Warpath reference, Missions reference, and Trials reference. Unlock conditions from old Demo notes are not silently carried forward.
Release, patches, and troubleshooting
The patch notes ledger indexes selected official posts by build context. The known issues page distinguishes a current official gap from fixes recorded in Demo updates. Save questions belong in the Demo transfer comparison, with staged detail pages for Windows save location and Steam Cloud checks.
Apply the source policy
Every patch-sensitive guide carries a last-checked date and registry-backed evidence IDs. The source policy follows four rules:
- Prefer official Steam, developer, publisher, and press-kit material for factual claims.
- Name the build state next to advice that can change with a patch.
- Keep a historical Demo statement separate from an announced version 1.0 statement.
- Mark missing exact data Not verified yet rather than calculate around it.
An official screenshot can verify that a visual asset exists. It may not reveal a formula, hidden target priority, or release-state change. A Steam feature list can verify offline gold or Steam Cloud support. It may not verify the offline rate or the success of a specific sync.
Know what this site is
Orc Incremental Wiki is an independent fan-made reference and is not affiliated with Nice Ride, Playsaurus, Valve, or Steam. The public name is Orc Incremental Wiki. Official sources are linked so readers can inspect the basis of a claim and recognize when the wiki is making a narrow editorial inference.
This site does not republish the game, claim developer authority, or use a fan observation to open the release gate. If a page and the current game disagree, note the exact build and use the page source ledger to check whether the claim is historical, announced, or verified against a later state.
Report a useful correction
A correction should include the page, sentence, game build, observed result, and the smallest reproducible setup. For release or save claims, include the official page or announcement. For a gameplay observation, record enough conditions for another player to repeat it without sharing sensitive save data.
Do not submit a unit ranking without a comparison method. Do not submit a threshold from memory. Do not turn a single screenshot into a formula. Clear limits make the verified parts of a guide more useful.
Official sourceFrequently asked questions
- Is Orc Incremental Wiki an official site?
- No. Orc Incremental Wiki is an independent fan-made reference. It cites official sources but is not affiliated with Nice Ride, Playsaurus, Valve, or Steam.
- How are Demo and version 1.0 claims separated?
- Each page carries a build-state label and a last-checked date. Historical Demo notes stay historical, while announced full-release features use 1.0 Confirmed until the official release gate changes.
- What happens when an exact value is unavailable?
- The page says Not verified yet and avoids filling the gap with an estimate. A later update needs an official citation or a clearly documented test against a named build.
